Shirley Roberts, 70, died May 8, 2008, at Golden Living Center in Ripley. She was born Dec. 2,1937 to Cleatus Lassiter and Lila May Jones Lassiter. She retired from Quartet in Booneville. She was a member of Chapman Church of Christ.
Services were at Ripley Funeral Home with burial in Camp Ground Methodist Church Cemetery in Walnut.
Survivors include one sister-in-law, Lucille Lassiter of Walnut; three nephews, Jimmy Lassiter, David Lassiter, Robert Lassiter; a special friend, Oleta Phillips of Ripley.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, William Lassiter; one nephew, Harry Lassiter. Pallbearers will be Johnny Cissom, Gary Wood, Larry Wood, David Lassiter, Robert Lassiter and Jimmy Lassiter.
