Grace Mae Huddleston Wilbanks, 87, died May 10, 2008, at Tippah County Hospital in Ripley. She was a homemaker. She was faithful and a charter member of West Ripley Baptist Church where she served as Sunday School Teacher and Member of the Woman Missionary Union and also the Gideons Auxiliary. She was a devoted wife of almost 70 years, a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and a great-great grandmother. She loved to cook for her family.
Services were at West Ripley Baptist Church with burial in Tippah Memorial Gardens. McBride Funeral Home in Ripley was in charge of arrangements.
Survivors included her husband, Milton Wilbanks; three daughters, Joyce (Houston) Clemmer and Judy (Laverne) Clemmer both of Ripley, Patsy (Johnny) Little of Ripley; two sisters, Maxine Tomlinson of Como, Miss. and Christine Martin of Memphis; eight grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by per parents, Daniel and Ada Frances Lindsey Huddleson; one sister, Gladys Wilbanks; two brothers, J.W. Huddleston and Vance Huddleston.
