Gene Marshall Crouch Sr., 65, died May 18, 2008, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. He was born Oct. 25, 1942 to Lillie Belle Graves Crouch of Pontotoc and Marshall Tolvert Crouch. He was a member of the Baptist Church and a truck driver for Glasco Trucking.
Services were at Ripley Funeral Chapel with burial at Tippah Memorial Garden.
Survivors included his wife, Joyce Parks, of Ripley; four daughters, Talana Flake (Kevin) of Ripley, Tanja Jackson (Robert) of Atoka, Tenn., Daphne Young of Walnut, and Amanda Duncan (Craig) of Ripley; three sons, Gene Crouch Jr. of Southaven, Clay Crouch (Vickie) of Senatobia, and Jeffrey Parks (Heather) of Dumas; his mother, Lillie Belle Graves Crouch of Pontotoc; one sister, Barbara Carter (Wayne) of Pontotoc; 17 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Robin White; his father, Marshall Crouch; and one sister, Virginia O’Kelly Bartton.
