Carl E. Finerson, 26, died May 17, 2008, at The Med in Memphis. He was born Oct. 22, 1981, to David Finerson of Radcliff, Ky., and Glenda Whaley Cagle of Walnut. He was a Baptist and a self-employed truck driver.
Services were at Ripley Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Walnut Creek Cemetery.
Survivors included his mother, Glenda Whaley Cagle (James) of Walnut; his father, David Finerson (Teresa) of Radcliff, Ky.; two sisters, Tammy Smith of Walnut and Tina S. Burnett (Darreld) of Ripley; his grandparents, Phillip and Nancy Finerson of Collierville, Tenn., and Eugene Derrick of Ripley; and one niece, Shannon Burnett of Ripley.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Betty Derrick; two uncles, Donald Derrick and Donald Wayne Derrick Jr. (Doonie); one nephew, Thomas M. Derrick (Buddy); and his great-great-grandfather, Carl Patients Nunburger.
