Hazel Godwin, 91, died May 19, 2008, at Graceland Care Center in New Albany. She was born Sept. 13, 1916, to Robert L. and Bama South Godwin. She was a member of Macedonia (Deentown) Baptist Church. She was a retired secretary and worked for Ripley Medical Clinic for years.
Services were at Ripley Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Blue Mountain Cemetery.
Survivors included her cousins, Maybell Gossett, Wilma Wood (Larry) and family, Nancy Copeland (Mike) and family, and cousin, special friends and caregivers, Jackie and Sue Gossett and family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert L. and Bama South Godwin.
