Betty Jean Sides Tuscana, 51, died June 16, 2008, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. She was a member of Peoples Baptist Church. She was disabled.
Services were at McBride Funeral Home Chapel in Ripley with burial in the Hopewell Cemetery in Walnut.
Survivors included one son, Joel Janes (Amy) of Ripley; four sisters, Amy Mardis and Nancy Ray, both of Walnut, Kathy Mauney (Bobby) of Ripley and Brenda Witt (Jimmy) of Falkner; two brothers, Wayne Sides (Linda) of Corinth and Frank Sides Jr. (Joyce) of Ashland; three grandsons.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Earline Barnes Sides, and a sister, Mattie Barber.
