Joe Montroy Strickland, 74, died June 24, 2008, at his home in Ashland. He was a roofer.
Graveside services were at Hopkins Cemetery in Ashland with burial in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors included one son, Keith Strickland (Connie) of Ripley; three sisters, Melba Orman, Dorothy Orman and Darlene Hartley, all of Ashland; four brothers, Hillard, Kyle, Billy and Klyce Strickland, all of Ashland; one grandson.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Garna Thompson Strickland; his parents, James Horace and Lillie Hopkins Strickland; and a brother, David Strickland.
