Margia Nell Janes Glover, 73, died July 9, 2008, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. She was a retired bank manager for Security State Bank in Starkville. She played basketball at Northeast Junior College in Booneville. She was a member of Harmony Baptist Church in Walnut. She loved spending time with her family, especially her son and grandsons, who were the joys of her life.
Services were at Harmony Baptist Church in Walnut with burial in Harmony Cemetery. McBride Funeral Home of Ripley was in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors included her husband, Daniel Glover of Walnut; one son, Danny Glover (Kelly) of Mantachie; two sisters, Hester Massengill of Hickory Flat and Thelma Hopkins of Walnut; one brother, Roy Janes of Walnut; two grandchildren, Pfc. Bryan Glover with the U.S. Army in Maryland and Bob Glover (Amberly) of Ripley; three stepgrandchildren; one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bryan and Bettie Huddleston Janes; a son, David Glover; and three brothers, Billy Janes, Ronald Janes and Elbert Janes.
