Pauline F. Bowlin, 91, died July 12, 2008, at her home. She was born on May 3, 1917, in Tippah County to George Washington and Daisy Wells Floyd. She was a retired R.N. from Baptist Memorial Hospital Memphis and the Shelby County School System. She was formerly of New Albany and was a nurse and the former Shands Hospital. She was a member of Colonial Baptist Church.
Services were at United Funeral Service Chapel in New Albany with burial at New Albany City Cemetery.
Survivors included her husband, Billy Bowlin of Memphis, Tenn.; one daughter, Ruth Anne Bowlin of Memphis, Tenn.; one son, George Paul Bowlin of Independence; one sister, Charlotte Griffin of Clinton.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Katie Sue Brown and Nan Wallace.
