Mayetta Crawford, 86, died July 16, 2008, at the Tippah County Nursing Home in Ripley. She was a homemaker and a member of Dumas Baptist Church.
Services were at McBride Funeral Home Chapel in Ripley with burial in Box Chapel Cemetery at Ripley.
Survivors included one daughter, Carolyn Phagan (Steve) of Shreveport, La.; three sons, Victor Crawford (Betty), Wade Crawford (Johnnie) and Clay Crawford (Vicki), all of Ripley; one sister, Aline Stroud of Tunica; one brother, Joseph Robbins of Dumas; 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Murry Crawford; her father, Henry Lacy; her mother, Mattie Pannell Robbins; a daughter, Peggy Richardson; and two brothers, Thomas Lacy and George Lacy.
