Rita Quay Bennett, 58, died Thursday, June 5, 2008. She was born Dec. 3, 1949, in Tishomingo County to F.M. "Bud" and Essie Bennett.
Services will be 11 a.m. today at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel in Belmont with Bro. Trent Jaudon officiating. Burial will follow in Belmont City Cemetery.
Survivors include two brothers, Keith Bennet (Gladys) and Bryson Bennet (Lena) of Waukegan, Ill.; six sisters, Bea Bostick of Golden, Bess Leathers of Houston, Texas, Rachel Lotz (Bob) of Kenosha, Wis., Reba Harris (Bruce) of Muscle Shoals, Ala., Evonne Nichols (J.M.) of New Albany and Joann Gray (Sam) of Fulton; one sister-in-law, Gay Bennett of Belmont; a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, J.W. Bennett; three brothers-in-law, Fay Bostick, Pete Leathers and Joe Ginn,
Pallbearers will be Roger Bennett, Jerry Bennett, Jackie Bostick, Jimmy Bostick, Garvin Gray and Tim Gray.
Visitation will be until service time today at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the
American Diabetes Association or a charity of your choice.
