Willie Chamblee, 91, died June 10, 2008, at the Vista Medical Center East in Waukegan, Ill. She was born March 25, 1917, in Tishomingo County to Will and Daisy Ewing Ivy. She attended Lakeside Community Church. She was retired from Medical V.A. Center in North Chicago, Ill. She was a loving mother and grandmother.
Services were June 13 at Senter Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton with burial in Itawamba Memorial Gardens.
Survivors included one daughter, Bonnie Jackson (Harvey) of Zion, Ill.; two grandsons, Jeffery R. and Gregory Jackson; one sister-in-law, Jewel Chamblee of Fulton; her caregivers, Doris Lindsey and Lavonda Turner.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elgar Chamblee, in 1998; her parents; two sisters, Ethel Robinson and Jessie Graham.
