Mary Ruth Palmer, 75, died June 13, 2008, at Magnolia Regional Hospital in Corinth. She was born July 3, 1932, in Hickman, Ky., to Walter and Anne Stovall Barr. She was a home maker. She was a member of the Church of God. She loved crafts, she loved to crochet, and she was a seamstress.
Services were at Fairview Holy Church of Christ in Belmont with burial in Belmont City Cemetery. Senter Funeral Home of Fulton was in charge of arrangements.
Survivors included her husband, Dewayne Palmer of Belmont; two sons, Ronald Palmer (Judy) of Othello, Wash., and Gary Palmer of Greensboro, N.C.; two daughters, Shelia Siler (Ivan III) of Greensboro, N.C., and Cheryl Byram (John Jr.) of Dennis; 10 grandchildren, Jason, Jessica, Sarah, Erica, Ivan IV, David, Mary, Eli, EMma, Jacob; one great-grandchild, Alexis; one sister, Lucille Lahr of Carolyn, Mich.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
