BURNSVILLE - Jimmie (J.C.) Skinner, 69, died June 17, 2008, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. He was a member of the Holts Spur Volunteer Fire Department and the Tri-State Fly Wheelers Tractor Club. He had served in the U.S. Air Force.
Services were at the Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Glen with burial at Rowland Mills Cemetery.
Survivors included his wife, Mary Anne Skinner; his mother, Hattie Skinner of Burnsville; one daughter, Velma Gosa of Burnsville; one brother, Jerry Skinner of Southaven; one sister, Marsha Itkin of Covington, Ga.; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
