Funeral services for Mrs. Ida Hill Hatcher were held Sept. 20, 1956 from Boggs Chapel in Tishomingo County. Mrs. Hatcher died Sept. 19 at the Itawamba County Hospital. She suffered a heart attack and had been ill for 10 days. Burial was in the Boggs Cemetery with Senter Funeral Home in charge. She had been living in Fulton for 21 years. She was 66 years old. She had been a member of the East Fulton Baptist Church for two years.
Survivors included a son, James Herbert Hatcher of Prairie, and two daughters, Mrs. Bill Adams and Mrs. Grady Wilemon, both of Fulton; one brother, Cager Hill of Tishomingo; and one sister, Mrs. Nora Blue of Iuka.
