TISHOMINGO - James Arnie McAnally, 83, died June 27, 2008, at his residence. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a retired heavy equipment operator. He loved his family and was an avid hunter. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
Graveside Services were June 29 at South Crossroads Cemetery with Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka in charge of arrangements.
Survivors included one daughter, Judy South (Talmadge) of Tishomingo; two grandchildren, Mark South (Terri) of Iuka and Lorie Hersey of Tishomingo; three great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by one son, Hubert Wayne McAnally; his parents, Taylor and Alta Bell McAnally; two brothers, Curtis and Bert McAnally; three sisters, Evan Leston, Mabrine Hendrix and Stella Mae Bailey.
