Iuka - Victoria Rutherford, 89, died May 26, 2009, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Iuka. She was a member of Rutledge-Salem United Methodist Church and enjoyed gardening and sewing.
Services were at the Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka with burial in Rutledge-Salem Cemetery. Cutshall Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors included one daughter, Linda Bolton of Destin, Fla.; one son, Harold Rutherford of Iuka; three sisters, Flora Lowe of River Rouge, Mich., Ann Reinhard of Tupelo and Peggy Hopkins of Iuka; seven grandchildren, Marty Rutherford of Iuka, Pamela Harwell of Atlanta, Ga., Tamela Dugger of Columbia, Tenn., Joseph Rutherford of North Carolina, James Stephen Rutherford and Jodi Lynn Rutherford, both of Tennessee, and Larry Rutherford Jr. of Florida; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John R. Rutherford; two sons, James Ray Rutherford and Larry Wayne Rutherford; a grandchild, Monty Rutherford; and three brothers, Charlie, Reggie and Refus Wilson.
