Belmont – Elsie Taylor Hallmark, 86, died June 6, 2009, at the Care Center of Red Bay, Ala. She was born in Colbert County, Ala., to the late Luther Vinson and Emma Wanner Taylor. She was a member of Belmont United Methodist Church.
Services were at the Deaton Funeral Home Chapel in Belmont with burial in the Belmont City Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home of Belmont was in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors included five children, Gary Hallmark (Fay) of Decatur, Ala., Mary Henley (David) of Belmont, John Hallmark (Donna) of Tupelo, Martha Ann Casmus of Belmont and Keith Hallmark (Pam) of Red Bay, Ala.; six grandchildren, Jennifer Still (Paul), Amanda Waddle (Robbie), Hannah Henley, Chris Hallmark (Lindsey), Taylor Hallmark and Keitha Hallmark; two great-grandchildren; and sisters, Evelyn Shook (Claude), Catherine Moore and Dorothy Taylor.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernell Elwood Hallmark; her parents; and her brother, Luther V. “Jack” Taylor Jr.
