Services for Mildred Miles Conaway, 69, of Crenshaw were held on at 4 p.m. on Aug. 13 at Berea Baptist Church with burial in Oakwood Cemetery. Rev. Eldrin Gill officiated at the services.
Mrs. Conaway, a retired supervisor for Pillowtex, died Aug. 9 at her home.
She is survived by a very special friend, Raymond Richie of Turrle, Ark; a daughter, Linda Darnell Miles Harrington of Horn Lake; two sons, Michael P. MIles of Strayhorn and Tommy Ray Miles of Horn Lake; four sisters, Christine Edington of Cleveland, Miss., Jerri Bryant of Tunica, Barbara Thomas of Eudora, Lydia Bly of Strayhorn; a brother, Thomas Delane Mayo of Moon Lake,Miss.; seven grandchildren and two great grand children.
She was preceded in death by husbands, Purvis Miles and Sam Conaway and sisters Joyce Frazier of Crenshaw and Dorothy Samuels of Sledge, Miss.
