Services for Charles Mervin Scott, 84, of Tunica were held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 13, 2008 at First Baptist Church in Tunica with burial in Oakwood Cemetery. Danny Smith officiated at the services.
Mr. Scott, the retired manager of Mid South Oil Company, died Jan. 11 at Baptist DeSoto Hospital. He was a past member of the Tunica Lions Club and Tunica Fire Department.
He is survived by a brother, William Everett Scott of Mountain Home, Ark.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Frankie P. Scott.
Pallbearers were: Mike Hill, Mike Boren, Buddy Boyer, Ellis Darby, Steve Sosebee, Winston Earnheart, Stewart Woods and Joe Goff Jr.
