Services for J.D. Plemmons, 87, were held at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Tunica on April 26, 2008 with burial in Oakwood Cemetery.
Mr Plemmons, a retired Sears and Trane employee, died April 24, 2008 in Southaven. He was a Navy veteran,who served in World War II and the Korean War.
He is survived by a daughter, Debbie Poe of Memphis; two sons, Rick Plemmons and Dan Plemmons, both of Memphis; two sisters; a brother, Buck Plemmons of Georgia; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Vera Plemmons.
