Services for James Tillman Messer, 58, of Sarah, Miss. were held at 2 p.m. on Aug. 4 at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Tunica with burial in Oakwood Cemetery. Eric Cooper officiated at the services.
Mr. Messer, a limo driver for Hollywood Casino, died Aug. 2, 2008 at his home.
He is survived by his wife, Gracie Messer of Sarah; a daughter, Tillie Messer of Union City, Ga; step daughters, Marie Kitchens of Oxford and Gayla Cooper of Sarah; two sons, Randy Messer of Gonzales, La. and Rusty Messer of Baton Rouge, La.; a sister, Sherry Craft of Tunica; a grandson and nine step grandchildren.
