Windy Lynn Pierce Cosby passed away November 2007, a victim of domestic homicide.
Windy was born July 24,1974 to the late Judy Rose Jaco Biscoe and Stephen Russell Pierce. Windy was adopted by her grandparents, the late William Russell and Pauline Vanlandingham Pierce, after her mother was killed in a car accident. Windy grew up in the Strayhorn Area, where she attended school.
She leaves two sons, Michael Mount of Southaven and Gus Cosby of Courtland; four daughters, Ashley Mount, Katlynn Mount of Coldwater, Holly Mount of Southaven and Mattie Cosby of Courtland. She also leaves four brothers, Stephen Pierce of Batesville, Joe Pierce and Sonny Pierce of Senatobia, William Randell Pierce of Sarah; two half brothers, William M. Pierce and Daniel Pierce of Sarah; four sisters, Linda McEntee of Belton, Texas, Lavonne Waggner of Southaven, Sandy Ealy of Tunica and Angela Pierce of Sardis and a host of other family members who loved Windy dearly.
