Tunica - Mary Alice Little, 79, died December 9, 2008, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Desoto. She was the sister of Christine Bailey Mitchel of Crowder.
Services were at Wells Funeral Home. Burial was in Forrest Hill South in Memphis. Wells Funeral Home has charge.
Little, born Dec. 20, 1928, to the late Walter J. and Florie Smith Bailey in Boyle, was a retired nurse’s aid and a cosmetologist. She was a member of Kensington Baptist Church in Memphis.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Glenn Little and a sister, Juanita Bailey Douglas.
Survivors along with her sister included one daughter, Kathy Little Eisenbraun of Hernando; one son, Larry Glenn Little of Horn Lake; two sisters, Jeanette Bailey Hannah of Locke Station and Ella Doris Bailey Gilley of Amarillo, Texas; two brothers, James Bailey of Locke Station and Eugene Bailey of Tillatoba; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
