Services for Janie Marie Kelley, 62, of Tunica will were held Jan. 22, 2009 at First Baptist Church with burial in Oakwood Cemetery.
Janie passed away Monday, Jan. 19 at Baptist Memorial Hospital-DeSoto in Southaven.
She was born to Myrtle Marie Goff and the late Everett Goff of Tunica and was one of eleven children. Janie was known for many years of wonderful and faithful service at the Blue and White Restaurant in Tunica. She loved to write poetry and had several poems published in The Tunica Times over the years.
She is survived by four children, Tina Kelley Palmertree of Horn Lake; Sam Kelley of Sarah, Miss.; Jodie Kelley of Tunica and Landis Keely of the Gulf Coast; seven brothers, Joe Goff, Marvin Goff, Roger Goff, Donnie Goff, Ronnie Goff and Bill Goff, all of Tunica; four sisters, Kathy Caston of Southaven and Judy Goad, Rita Goff and Lynn Goff, all of Tunica and 10 grandchildren.
