Mrs. Evelyn F. Koehler, 88, of Lake Cormorant, MS, and formerly of Blytheville, Ark., died February 28, 2009, at her home.
She was born January 16, 1921, in Dell, to the late Calvin Jessie and Georgia Powell Cohea. Mrs. Koehler was a homemaker and a member of the Audubon Park Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Koehler; her son, Thomas Koehler; and a sister, Estell Phillips and two brothers, Grandville Cohea and Theo Cohea.
Mrs. Koehler leaves her daughter, Donna Smith and her husband Danny of Lake Cormorant; two sisters, Christeen Emery of Blytheville and Bernice Broadway of Byhalia, MS; six grandchildren, Gary Bennett, Lacye Bennett, Kimberly Jeroff, Kate Grady, Amy Koehler, and Lisa Van Note; and eight great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were held March 5, at Elmwood Cemetery in Blytheville.
