Carl “Cotton” Boles, 52, of Tunica and formerly of Cave City, Ark., died May 21, 2009 in Tunica. Funeral services were at Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City, with burial in the Maxville Cemetery.
Mr. Boles was born on July 10, 1956 in Noblesville, IN to Eldon and Cora Boles. He was a security officer for Hollywood Casino Tunica and a member of the Maxville Missionary Baptist Church in Cave City.
He is survived by a son, William Boles of Cave City; a daughter, Tamera Shreve of Fayetteville; his mother, Cora Staggs of Cave City; three brothers, Bobby Boles of Jonesboro, Charles Boles and Donald Staggs, both of Cave City; a granddaugther, Alexis Boles of Cave CIty; three grandsons, Hunter Edwards and Jacob Edwards, both of Cave City and Rylan Shreve of Fayetteville; a niece, Sadie Rae Staggs of Cave City and a host of family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father and his grandmother, Carm Boles.
