Ruby Inez Henderson Taylor, 91, died April 5, 2008, at Graceland Care Center in New Albany. She was born July 24, 1916, in Union County to Joe and Lizzie Adair Henderson. She was a Baptist and a homemaker.
Survivors included one daughter, Bettye Swords of New Albany; one sister, Lou Etta Jordan of New Albany; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Taylor ;her parents; two sisters, and one brother.
Services were at United Funeral Service Chapel with burial will be in Glenfield Memorial Park.
