Theodia Vance, 58, died April 2, 2008, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union County. She was born Dec. 19, 1949, in Hickory Flat to Juliue Mae Taylor and Willie Vance. She was a member of Reid's Gift Baptist Church.
Services were at Reid's Gift M.B. Church of Potts Camp with burial in the Hickory Flat Cemetery. Serenity Funeral Home of New Albany was in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors included three children, Jennifer (Leon) Snow and Vandallen Vance, both of New Albany, and Johnny O'Neal Vance of Lexington; two brothers, Charles (Stephanie) Taylor of Hickory Flat and Billy (Ella) Massey of Jacksonville, N.C.; two sisters, Beulah Harris of Hickory Flat and Pattie Taylor of New Albany; four grandchildren.
