Mary Earlene Floyd, 86, died July 5, 2008, at Community Hospice House in Verona. She was born on April 26, 1922, in Etta to Harvey A. and Ellie Raby Hardin. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Pontotoc and a retired factory worker. She was a member of Keenagers at her church and was a member of the Eastern Star.
Services were at Mortimer Funeral Home in Pontotoc with burial at Vista Memorial Gardens in New Albany.
Survivors included one son, Bill Floyd of Memphis, Tenn.; one brother, W.T. Hardin of New Albany; two sisters, Ruby Canerdy of New Albany and Mary Ruth Grisham of Ecru.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Master Sergeant G.C. Floyd Jr.; her parents; one sister, Lola Coleman.
