Leonard Glen Pearson, 55, died July 14, 2008, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union County in New Albany. He was a member of Reid’s Gift M.B. Church at Potts Camp. He was a disabled concrete mason for John Motton.
Services were at Potts Camp High School with burial in Cottrell Memorial Garden in Holly Springs. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home of Holly Springs was in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors included his wife, Celestine Pearson of Horn Lake; one son, Kagay L. Pearson of Upper Marlboro, Md.; four sisters, Mary Houston and Sherry Evans of Potts Camp, Shirley Christian of Memphis and Frances Johnson of Columbia; three brothers, John Motton, James Pearson and Elijah Whaley Jr., all of Columbus, Ohio.
