Sara M. Hamric, 89, died July 23, 2008, at her home. She was born April 27, 1919, in Belden to Richard Henry Reagh and Vergie Kitchens Reagh. She was a beautician and a member of the First Baptist Church of New Albany.
Services were at United Funeral Service Chapel with burial in New Albany City Cemetery.
Survivors included one daughter, Mary Nowlin (West); one son, Richard Hamric (Jean); three grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John R. Hamric Jr.; three sisters, Annie Pearl Taylor, Georgella Reagh and Irene Smith; and a brother, Leon Reagh.
