I am looking for the death notice, record, ect. for Mary (Fletcher) Brockwell. She lived in Graves Co., Kentucky and in 1905, at the age of 29, killed 3 of her 4 children. The one that was not killed, Hazel Brockwell, moved to Vicksburg, Warren, Mississippi. I am not sure why she moved there or exactly when. She married John Owens. They had a daughter according to the 1920 and 1930 census, named Dorothy, who married a Mr. Parker. We do not know who this Mr. Parker is. Family story says that Dorothy had married a "movie star".. we're not sure how this story came to be, but since we do not know who Dorothy's mystery husband was, we can't be too sure about it either!
Mary Brockwell had went to jail and was there until she was 80 years old. When her family here in Kentucky would not let her stay with them she is said to have went to Vicksburg where her daughter was.
There is a song written about Mary and many newspaper articles. Mary was the aunt of my great grandfather.
