I have a real brick wall with Quitman Anthony Burch and his wife, Alzada Jane "Jennie" Roberts Burch - they married in 1878 in Warren County. The only written evidence I have of his life is their marriage license. I have never seen them in the census records. Each of their children's death certificates indicate they were born in Vicksburg. Their children were Lelia(1879-1929), Emma (1880-1954), triplets - Ernest(steen)1885-1947, Josephine -1885-1966, and Madeline who died at birth, Pearler (1887-1965), Robert (1888-1939), Loyd Coleman (1889-1949)and Jennie (1891-1927). Quitman died when the children were fairly young according to family records. Alazda Jane re-married in about 1898 to Charley Thompson (found in the 1900 census in Leake County). Any suggestions for how to locate other records on Quitman? He was found in none of the census records. Thanks, Pat
