Hi,

There are three possible places that I can recommend. There is a bound and published book that lists the victims of the yellow fever epidemic for this area. There is another book that lists the probate records available for Warren Co. This book shows guardianship actions related to orphan children. This book does not have full abstracts. Finally, there are the diocese records for the Catholic Church. Early in the 1800s activity up as far as Vicksburg showed up in the records of the Baton Rouge diocese. I'm not sure about the late 1800s since I did not look in this time period. There is a bound and published series of books for this diocese.

Good luck, DT
