Am seeking information on Captain Reynolds Chapman Slaughter, who married Louisa V. Lake between 1850-1867, possibly in Vicksburg, Warren County, MS. He was the son of Thomas Towles Slaughter and Jane Chapman, and born in Orange, VA, He died 3 Aug 1867.
I do not believe he had any children from this marriage.
Louisa Lake was the daughter of William Augustus Lake and Anne Elizabeth Craig, both born in MD, and lived in Vicksburg, MS
Would like to know his military records,wedding date, death and burial place, death date and burial place of his wife, along with any other facts.
