I am looking for descendants of Vernon McBroom, who was a gunner on a flight that went down in the South Pacific on 26 Jul 1942. Vernon died that day, but I hope to be able to return his dogtags, which are presently in possession of a man in New Guinea, to his family. Thank you for your help.
