William Allen born about 1750 in VA., (parents unknown)William was in SC., about 1785 to 1790 and perhaps before that time. at least two of his sons Joseph and William Jr. were born in South Carolina. At some unknown time he went to TN. before he came to Warren County, Mississippi. He was in Warren Co. by 1820 when the census was taken. He married Rhoda (Who may have been an Allen) and she is named in his will in Warren Co. Wm and Rhoda had the following children.
Joseph Allen
Nancy who married a Bowles
William Jr., who died in Hinds Co. Ms.
Thomas Allen
Johnson Allen the youngest son
John who was deceased at the time will was written
Linny )Lenny who married a Price
Terril Allen.
