William Henry Hammett & Lammore Plantation

I found a reference to William Henry Hammett and Lammore Plantation, Washington County, Mississippi, in Edward Hammett's will in Montgomery County, Virginia. William and Edward were brothers and both were born in County Cork, Ireland. William served in the U.S. House of Representatives 1843-45 and is buried in the cemetery on the plantation. Edward leaves the plantation (spelled Lammermore in the will) to his son, John Radford Hammett, and daughter, Sue Tyler, wife of Virginia Governor James Hoge Tyler in 1869. I was just wondering if the plantation still existed and if any Hammetts still lived there.
