John Turnbull of MS; Choctaw Emmahka Carney

Seeking location of Capt. John Turnbull's 40 A on "Yazoo Valley flat" as well as Robert Turnbull residing on "Yellow Busha, east side" near John Turnbull. Choctaw widow, Emmahka living on 3 cultivated acres on "Puttahcahcocah Creek" near the Turnbulls. Other waterways mentioned are: Yellow Bush River, Big Sandy and Teyocktahliah Creek in this area. Source: American State Papers, Public Lands, list entitled, "Names of Indians Owning Farms" and was in the era of l848-l849. Emmahka, widow of half-Choctaw Jeremiah Carney (signer of Doak's & Dancing Rabbit CR Treaties) died somewhere in MS (now seeking burial site)in early l848 so this source had to be in the era of mid-late l848 or l849 I assume. Any information and/or suggestions on where I might locate the area and Tax Rolls/Census of same will be deeply appreciated. June Carney Pollard, Franklin, TN - e.m.: junesam@bellsouth.net - many thanks!
