I noticed that there is a Lake Monocnoc located near Dunleith, where my Monix ancestors lived ca. 1910. Does anyone know where I could get info on the origin of the Lake's name? My g-g-grandfather George Monix was half Native American...if the Lake's name is Native American, there might be some connection.
