They owned a plantation in Washington County, somewhere around Lake Washington or Princeton. It was called Solitaire or Soltaire. It was abandoned during the Civil War, but a grand-daughter, Mattie Knox, lived there until her death in 1896. She had mortgaged what was left of it and it was foreclosed on. That's about all I know, but would be interested in finding out the location and any details on this family. Notify Administrator about this message?
