Ada Jane was a daughter of John Henry Clark and Mary Susan Rogers. John Henry Clark's siblings were, Margret b 1835, Mary b 1823, Thomas b1846, Simeon b 1845, John Henry b1843, Millie b abt 1840, Madison b 1829, Martha b1833, and Lucinda b1840. Simeon Clark, m Appie Adleece Nancy Oswalt, b1842, were my Greatgrandparents. The parents of all these siblings were Thomas Clark, b1801, Rome Ga, and Ann Philida Hightower,b1804, Rome Ga. Thomas Clark's parents came to Georgia from Virginia. Thomas and Ann lived in South Carolina and Alabama before moving to Choctaw County, Mississippi sometime before 1840, because their first child born in Ms. was in 1840, Millie, and the child before that was born in South Carolina,Margret, b1835. The last account I found of Thomas Clark, 1880 census, he was living in Sumner County, Ms with his Daughter Millie, b abt 1840, according to the census she was blind, and obviously never married. Since my Ggrandfather, Simeon, was a brother of John Henry, that makes You and I 3rd cousins. Glad to meet you.
