I have been trying to locate my dad's side's of the family and have been successful except for his aunt. Her name was Elizabeth Mabus who married a Horton, making her Elizabeth Horton. I don't know what her husbands first name was. My last paper trail is in my grandfather's obit (Elizabeth's brother) which has her residing in Mathiston in 1954. I know that Elizabeth had a daughter named Mary Nell Horton and that Mary Nell attended Woods College in Mathiston. Mary Nell probably was born in the early 30's and probably went to Wood's College in the late 40's early 50's. Some in the families think that Mary Nell had a brother others don't know or can't remember. Some think that Elizabeth may have remarried to a Ferguson, but at this time I am not sure. IF ANYONE KNEW OF THIS FAMILY AND COULD GIVE ME ANY INFO AT ALL I WOULD BE SO GREATFUL!!
