Mannin Gore was born on March 27, 1809 in Chester Co. SC and died on June 6, 1849 in Webster Co. MS. He is buried in the Poplar Springs Cemetery. He married Selah A. Pepper and they had two children:
1) Permelia Davy Gore, born June 16, 1843 in Sumter Co. AL, died on September 30, 1923 in Montgomery Co. MS. She married George Marion Branch on Ausut 24, 1859.
2) Elizabeth Gore, born February 21, 1845
