I am collecting information about Montevista's old families, old roads, school, businesses, stories and/or fond memories for a book I plan to write about the area. If anyone has photos, info, etc., I would love for them to contact me. I want to begin as far back in time as I can, and I want to include the families that live near the Calhoun County line, as well as those who lived on the road toward Hohenlinden. (currently Smith Rd.)
I have a lot of family roots and fond memories from the area. I lived there as a small child, and both of my grandparents lived there. (Ella & Tom Williams; Rebecca "Becky" Russell Bailey whose last husband was named Russell Bailey who was Ella's brother...
