This family is listed in the census for Wilkinson County up through 1860, possibly later since I have not seen an 1870 census. I am looking for any information on the Gaulden family which originated in the Carolinas. Among the earliest names found is Zachariah Brumfield Gaulden born 1767 in North Carolina. I have been unable to find who he married, when he died, descendants. Also looking for Richard H. Gaulden who married Susan T. Richardson Kelly, Plascidia Gaulden who married Samuel Richardson, Matthew Gaulden who married Leonora ?, Wade H. Gaulden, Jackson Gaulden, Thomas Gaulden who married Lucy Coleman, and Samuel Faulding who married Eliza Collins.
All of these names appear on the census records but have not been linked. I understand there is a Gaulden Family Cemetery in Wilkinson County but have not seen a transcription to date.
I would appreciate hearing from anyone who can help straighten out these various Gauldens.
