Connie:
Thanks so much for taking your time to check on the Leatherman's for me. You gave me another bit of info. I didn't have on Amelia being married. That helps me a lot. According to one of the census records that someone sent to me from Anderson County, Texas it says that John R.Leatherman and Leonora had 8 children but 4 were dead. It didn't list their names though. I know there was John C. (Carroll), Benjamin Franklin and Amelia. I have no idea who the rest were. I have so little real info. on the family other than what I was told. To prove it is my big problem. I have been told that Arminda's husband was John W. Leatherman and his father being Samuel B. Leatherman and that they all lived in Wilkinson County. I have no idea when John R. Leatherman died. I figure it may have been during or after the civil war as it is after that the family moved to Texas. Every little bit of info. helps. Thanks again and Bless you for being so kind. You can e-mail me direct if you would like to or through here, either way. dorisparker78109@hotmail.com

Thanks,
Doris
