(In the meantime)I have been able to find a timeline of events (of sorts). 1783--1788 Bourbon co., West Georgia established. 1785 James F. Hamilton born. 1789 Territory of Mississippi established April 7 1798. 1799 Adams co., MS established. 1802 Wilkinson co.,MS established. 1811 Woodville, MS incorporated as a town. 1811 James F. Hamilton (son) married Harriet M. Morris, June 18 1811 Woodville, MS. 1817 State of Mississppi established Dec 10 1817. 1818 James Hamilton (father) died Nov 1818 Woodville, MS. 1824 Woodville Rebubican newspaper established.
