You and I have corresponded before several years ago. I have both Guynes and Cummin(g)s in my line. Roanna Guynes was daughter of William Guynes and Elizabeth McCool of Attala County, MS. She had a brother named Jim Guynes. Roanna married John Limuel Tanksley, of Winston and Attala Counties. I don't know how, but I suspect Lillie's family would intersect somehow with my Guynes.
As for Cummin(g)s, Jeffie's aunt Francis Lucinda Cummings Whitten was my ancestor. I am descended through her son Felbert Whitten and his wife Emma Tanksley (daughter of Roanna Guynes Tanksley).
